hi people. i am currently reading the newspaper and there was this article talking about many companies having stuff on the website promoting on free iphones and laptops and suggesting that the viewer put their phone number down and subscribe. after doing so,the viewer will start recieving messages that cost $4 each resulting in the viewer having to pay quite a lot of money. I learnt this the hard way,because of my greediness i decided to subscribe and they charged me $32 dollars for the messages.fortunately you can only get charged IF you reply the messages,the messages say something like this- dear customer,to have a chance to win a iphone or laptop answer this question............a or b please reply if you wish to have a chance to .........
and i did not reply i did not do anything,they sent me quite a lot of these messages. and my mum got to know about this when we got the phone bill. so please pretty please don't abuse your personal information and put it on the internet. DUN BE GREEDY!!!! x.x
